We are continuing our international expansion and searching for our next Junior Consultant to work on international projects from our Spanish office in Madrid.

Role & Responsibility

Your role as Junior Consultant will entail working with our clients to support the development and implementation of supply chain and procurement strategies for their projects; supporting or leading the Tender process for major CAPEX packages; negotiating and entering into contracts with the suppliers; and supporting the realisation of the project in accordance with the procurement strategy and contract management strategy.

  • Planning, implementation and execution of procurement and/or tender strategies.

  • Look to provide maximum value to our clients in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risks;

  • Lead and perform the complete procurement process including issuing of requests for information, requests for proposals and tenders, evaluating proposals, recommending the award of and finalising contracts;

  • Ensure that the procurement process is executed according to client policies and procedures, and documented in order to allow transparency and traceability throughout;

  • Identify all value items and their relationship within the scope of the procurement and set the tender strategy according to a well-defined awarding criteria;

  • Coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress;

  • Support the finalization of the commercial and contractual deal through standard general conditions and/or managing exceptions to those together with legal and the main stakeholders;

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking passionate and motivated procurement and supply chain professionals in offshore wind, that are aligned to our Vision and excited by the opportunities and challenges of working in a rapidly expanding international business. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in procurement management, preferably in a project organisation.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your package of works.

  • Experience in major infrastructure and energy projects is welcomed.

  • Experience in leading and managing procurement and tender processes.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Structured and methodical way of working.

  • Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations.
