Main tasks

  • High knowledge of service and sale of the different wines on the hotel's offer.

  • Stock control of the wine cellar, as well as its perfect storage and conservation.

  • Keeping up-to-date with new culinary trends, regarding with emerging wineries and new wines

  • Involvement in the development of the wine and drinks offering in line with the company’s F&B strategy

  • Compliance with the company’s established Service and Quality objectives

  • Previous experience in gastronomic restaurants and 5 * hotels will be positively valued.

  • High knowledge of English, while knowledge of other languages is positively valued.


Serve and sale wines and alcoholic beverages to guests in all the outlets of the hotel. Answer questions on wines and menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability. Follow cycle time guidelines for all meals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.


Communicate with guests and other employees and ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model.
