JOIN THE TEAM
Our unit Maritime Transportation and Visibility supports BASF's shared service organization and operating divisions as enabler for efficient transportation management operations. The solution space includes solutions for liner shipment, air transportation and shipment tracking & tracing. The product team’s responsibilities include to consult, design, deliver and run state of the art digital solutions SAP-based as well as cloud-based technical environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main tasks in this role would be:
In collaboration with the Product Owner -> Understand business requirements to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
In collaboration with your BASF team and contractors -> Define and implement development tasks using design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and solutions and document results.
In collaboration with the customer and stakeholder community -> Deploy and test implemented solution, present & explain work results and support validation testing.
Conducting research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities.
Live and support agile methodology (process & meetings & tools).
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant business or IT studies with at least 5 years of experience in a (technical) consulting role.
High level of technical expertise and consulting experience in SAP S/4 Transportation Management – Alternatively: Order Management, Warehouse Management, Yard Management.
Passion: Entrepreneurship, empathy, perseverance, result/outcome oriented, commitment
Collaboration: Teamwork, reliability, communication skills in English (Proficient user (CEFR C1, Language Skills Overview)), problem-solving skills, conflict-solving skills
Learning ability: Growth mindset, adaptability, flexibility, interest
Self-organization: Sense of responsibility, creative drive, decision-making
Experience working in agile teams with a DevOps mindset (ideally SCRUM experience).
