Day in the life of a master data steward. Support CS throughout the US. Every request goes through a board and gets through outlook. Will be supporting team as they are pulled out of day to day to work on accelerate. Will be looking to support based on assignments. They hav ea powerBI dashboard so they can see the requests come in and put their color on it. may take anywhere from ten minutes to 40 minutes to complete. Vary based on request type and will be working on same 5 types. Common is territory alignment.

Looking for someoen who is good with numbers and double checking their work. Get hospital number, surgeon number, and product and align that to a territory number.

Second most common type is a new surgeon. They will be responsible to do some due diligence within the ERP to ensure they don't exist. Go to online NPI database and find that it is a legitimate surgeon and info is correct. Then they will go through and set them up in Oracle and JDE (90 and 91). Map that. Once they are done with that reply all and let the requestor know that it has been completed.

What is important for this role is someone who has some type of ERP experience. Doesn't have to be oracle or JDE. Someone who can enter info and doublecheck that in the database. Good communication skills with the requestor seeing what the issues are and what the alternate solution is. Typical hours are 830-5pm eastern. Will have some more time for end of month/end of quarter. There will be an option to work if end of month is on a weekend.
