Work Hours/Shift: FT/Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Participate in the Provider Compensation Governance Committee for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

  • Responsible for all the physician call payments are made timely and accurately. Update call template invoices yearly. Work with hospital on the Master Call Agreement.

  • Ensure all Medical Director payments are according to the contract.

  • Supervise physician compensation models, including the planning of acquisitions and service line development.

  • Aid in the development, monitoring and production of automated calculations and reporting dashboards.

  • Participate in the annual analytical review of each employed provider’s pay structure to deliver a fair market value (FMV) plan that also meets Commercial Reasonableness (CR) Testing.

  • Work with AHSPE in CR Watchlist activities and coordinates reporting and monitoring of Action Plans for CR and FMV.

  • Identify areas of potential risk, under-performance and coordinate action plans in collaboration with leadership.

  • Monitor and manage any overpayments in provider compensation with leadership.

  • Calculate the financial impact of new compensation plans.

  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with legal services, management, compliance, internal audit, and finance to support regulatory and business requirements.

  • Evaluate current processes and procedures to update and create documentation.

  • Execute procedures and process of the department and the organization.

  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned or directed.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field

  • 2-5 years of experience healthcare industry Finance/Accounting environment

Job Summary:

The Provider Compensation Analyst will monitor the healthcare industry to aid in aligning provider compensation to the ever-changing environment. This individual will assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiative surrounding provider compensation. The Provider Compensation Analyst will aid the Director of Provider Compensation when working with leadership and providers in developing, monitoring and tracking compensation arrangements. The individual will also be a resource to leadership in reviewing all aspects of provider compensation throughout the medical group.
