The impact you have in this role.

As a Customer Service Representative (m/f/*) within Transportation and Electronics Business Group for global transportation and electronic original equipment manufacturer customers (the Transportation & Electronics Business Group is made up of electronics (display materials and systems, electronic materials solutions), commercial solutions, advanced materials, and transportation safety), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • To liaise with the business partners on customer relationship management utilizing SalesForce functionality

  • To provide service and support through utilizing various systems across a wide range of products

  • To collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure we are providing the highest level of service and any queries are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring all transactions always meet required compliance standards and defined Service Level Agreements.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Minimum secondary level education with relevant work experience

  • Excellent communication skills in English (in writing and in speaking). Fluency in German, French, or any other language is a nice-to-have.

  • Use of SAP and Salesforce is desirable

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to manage change including quickly adapting to new systems and processes

  • Experience of supply chain and logistics is also desirable

  • Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Travel: 5% expected – should customer visits be required

Role Location: Manchester

Work type: Work Your Way/Hybrid (with 1 day per week onsite) /Remote/Home based/Office based
