About our Team

As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be leading and liaising with dynamic, passionate cross functional teams, where collaboration as a team is key.

About the Role

As the Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading/managing a team of Software developers. You will also be involved in Coding in a 50/50 split capacity.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and/or train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.

• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

• Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.

• Managing and encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations

• Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility

Requirements

• Experience managing/leading a team of Software Engineers

• Have proficient coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, Angular and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in partnering and leading internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.

• Be able to demonstrate proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.

• Be able to collaborate, support and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
