Operational • Plan and review periodic operational timelines for the team covering specific MRCs. • Monitor daily operational deliverables of team members. Ensure team meets the service level agreement. • Address and manage operational, people and other kinds of risk within the scope. • Function as the 1st escalation point for operational issues arising from either the subordinates or the client MRCs. Carve out root-cause analysis (RCA) and action plan to avoid recurrence of these issues. • Address internal and external issues by planning and implementing resolutions within the 1st level escalation capacity. • Provide feedback to leads/managers as to the status, progress, issues and resolutions on the operations floor. • Perform operational reviews to ensure the quality of deliverables to the client such as review of client-imposed journal entries, other recurring and/or adhoc journal entries, review of simple to moderate reports (e.g. intercompany out-of-balance reports, aging reports) and account reconciliations (e.g. intercompany recon). • Execute / participate in client calls/meetings to resolve issues and/or report regular operational results such as aging balances. Articulate issues effectively as well as raise help needed, if any, to partner with the client in improvements or issue resolution. • Act as subject matter expert for a specific assigned process by performing random checking as well as recommending process improvements and support for the timely and quality
