Description

We are searching for a methodical Payroll Clerk to join our finance team in Manhasset, New York. The selected individual will be primarily tasked with managing payroll for approximately 100 employees, along with ensuring the accuracy of records and handling other human resources-related activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our HR department.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for approximately 100 employees, ensuring all records are accurate and current.

• Coordinate and manage all human resources activities, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and policy enforcement.

• Oversee time and attendance records; conduct audits and review payroll data for inconsistencies and errors prior to submission.

• Serve as a primary contact point for all payroll-related inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in a prompt manner.

• Uphold the confidentiality of all payroll, employee records, and sensitive information in compliance with legal requirements.

• Contribute to ad-hoc human resources projects as required, providing administrative support and enhancing the overall efficiency of the HR department.

• Employ various accounting software systems for efficient functioning of accounting and benefit functions.

• Ensure the accuracy of accounts payable and conduct regular auditing.

35 hour work week

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Dayforce software

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skills in Auditing

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
