The Team: The current position is with the Market Data Domain wherein we provide comprehensive global data coverage of over 80,000 + companies. Market Data handles and is responsible for Equity, Debt and Pricing datasets.

Role Objective: This role would involve leading a team of Data Analysts as well as planning, prioritization and execution on projects or initiatives or processes and sound coordination among other team leads and managers across all offices to ensure accurate and timely processing of data and related quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend the process training thoroughly in a complete training environment and understand the nuances and policies at data collection level

  • Should successfully lead and manage a team functioning of about 15 or more individual contributors, virtually & in person to establish goals aligned to overall domain objectives and ensure that expected results are delivered on-time, monitor and measure individual and team performance periodically.

  • Creating an environment of consistent improvement, motivating the team to perform at a higher efficiency and foster a culture and initiatives that focus on team building and unity.

  • Coordinate with team leads and managers across all offices or other teams as required and work closely on deliverables, projects or initiatives as required.

  • Owns and is accountable for performance of the team and effectiveness of the data collection process.

  • Responsible for collecting feedback, work on testing and any & all other tasks associated with development of collection tools and systems.

  • Present and execute ideas for improving overall departmental processes, procedures, and tools. Continuously implement and innovate techniques to maximize productivity.

  • Prepare various production and quality metrics and reports and ad-hoc analysis highlighting status and/or progress of relevant matters to be worked/resolved.

  • Work on workflow analysis, monitoring and resource allocation as daily operational activity. Manage the performance of team members and conduct reviews. Conduct intensive training for the team, Plan resource requirements and develop back-up and succession plans.

  • Manage the aspirations of team members and create an environment of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Overall experience of 5-7 years in data management with exposure to people management functions for about 1-2 years.

  • Proven track record of training, mentoring, coaching, project planning, conflict management, change management.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to express ideas & vision in easy presentations.

  • Flexibility to work across various shifts including night shift on rotational or need basis.

  • Capacity to give & accept feedback constructively and provide coaching to the team

  • Preferred Knowledge of Equity Content Knowledge and Industry Concepts

  • Preferred Knowledge of Lean and Automation/Robotics (Lean Principles, Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma Certification, SQL).

  • Advance proficiency of MS Excel, Strong in Time Management & Presentation skills.
