The Role: Market Development Analyst, APAC

The Team:

Part of the Industry & Company Data Solutions group, the market development focuses on our insurance product across multiple segments, personas, and regions. In order to achieve our goals there is a need to partner with numerous groups, including the Desktop Business development team, Product Management Teams, Commercial, Client Operations, Marketing, and more to ensure there is a customer focused approach to the overall strategy.

The Impact:

The Market Development Analyst helps define and execute market development strategies to spearhead business growth across the insurance product. The role will contribute to market development through helping define, examine, and analyze the existing business and potential new markets as part of the business planning lifecycle. The role will drive penetration and expansion of the MI products through proactive market development, including monitoring market trends, producing thought leadership and competitive analysis and business analysis. He/She/They will be responsible for defining market development strategies and roadmap to support the Market Development lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide organization with subject matter expertise related to customer segments, at persona and regional level – specific areas of focus to include drivers of workflows & market dynamics, regulatory landscape, relevance/value of solutions by segment/persona, competitive risks/ opportunities

  • Drive ACV and Revenue targets for products and market development initiatives in APAC, create, maintain, and nurture strategic account relationships in partnership with the Commercial team. Monitor and build pipeline, support deal close, and product adoption.

  • Own Go-To-Market activities for prioritized initiatives. Identify market opportunities, develop marketing campaigns and target lists, produce thought leadership, and drive product adoption in partnership with the commercial and marketing teams. Represent the business at key industry events. Identify and monitor industry and market trends.

  • Participate in the creation of product and marketing collateral, including user guides, release notes, client newsletters, etc.

  • Ensure commercial team field readiness for product launches and the existing suite in the region working with the Education, Product, and the Business Line Market Development teams.

  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap. Prioritize market needs, size market opportunities, and assess and monitor competitors. Work with Product and Content teams to prioritize and deliver requirements.

  • Provide ongoing market feedback on the product strategy and development process through client interaction and dedicated market outreach.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (in Finance preferred, not required)

  • Proven market development skills: experience working with commercial organizations, developing and executing market development plans and Go-To-Market initiatives (marketing campaigns, thought leadership, industry analysis, pricing, market sizing), and supporting commercial opportunities

  • Experience with B2B data and analytic business

  • Proven client facing, project management and organizational skills

  • A solid understanding of business procedures and operations

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Quick decision-making skills

  • Highly collaborative

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
