Additional functions include review, acceptance, and maintenance of support documentation for deployed and supported infrastructure; provide leadership and technical guidance to 1st level operations staff; the ability to communicate abstract technical concepts in business terms across all levels of the organization; and individuals must maintain expert knowledge and skills of supported infrastructure, technologies, and services.

General Knowledge and Technical Skills:

Technical certifications, knowledge and experience of the following network, voice and security technologies, protocols and services is of strong value.

• Hands-on experience with multi-vendor Networking, Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and its troubleshooting.

• This includes routers, switches, wireless controllers, next-gen firewalls, load balancers, and other network/security appliances.

• Experience of Cisco’s SD-WAN and Cloud Networking are certainly a must.

• Experience in UNIX or Linux environment (Ubuntu, CentOS), IOS, IOS-XR or any network vendor CLI are desired.

• Engineering and administration experience with Network support tools such as LiveNx, NetBrain, vManage, InfoBlox, LogicMonitor and others.

• Any automation or scripting language is a plus.

• Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and lead projects is a necessity.

• Ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and creative problem-solving abilities under pressure.

• Ability to work within and lead projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

• At least 4 years of industry experience on Network Engineering and/or Operations handling complex and large-scale networks (LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud environments).

• At least 2 years of proven experience on Global Network Support.

Other eligibility qualifications

• CCNA or equivalent certifications is desired.

• CCNA DevNet or other coding certifications is a plus.
