COUNTY OF MANITOWOC Treatment Alternative/Diversion Coord in MANITOWOC, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manitowoc County is seeking a qualified Treatment Alternative Diversion Coordinator. This position provides administrative duties and coordinates all functions of the Diversion Program and Drug Court. Responsibilities involve extensive planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring of Drug Court and Diversion programming. This position: Guides, advises and mentors drug court team members. Decisions must be made in response to changing conditions, and requires discretion and conceptual analysis of data and intervening variables. Ensures that Treatment Alternative and Diversion Programs are in compliance with State statutes and judicial standards that regulate Treatment Courts. This includes expedited movement of qualified cases through the system in an organized and timely manner, creating and adjusting policies and procedures, providing the drug court team with new case information, and providing weekly updates on existing cases. Consults with Drug Court Judges on a wide range of organizational and managerial issues including but not limited to the courts efficiency and internal and external quality assurance. Performs assessments for adult offenders to assist court officials in determining post-conviction sentencing alternatives. Facilitates referral, admission, transfer and discharge for inpatient and residential treatment. Applies for grants to fund drug court.
