Position Type: Summer Employment/Instructors (Licensed/Non-Licensed) Position Title: Teacher - Parent Educator, Early Childhood Family Education [Summer School 2024] Location: Willow Lane Closing Date: Until Filled Description: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Job Summary: Implement parent education for summer ECFE Birth - 5 classes to include delivery and design of lessons that align with the curriculum practices of the Early Childhood & Family Education program. Maintain attractive and appropriate learning environment for adult learners. Qualifications: Valid MN teaching license in appropriate field. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with highly diverse populations Experience working with families of low socio-economic status Experience working with young children with no or limited group experiences Hours: Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30-1:00; 4.5 hours per day; 15.5 hours/week for four weeks [July 9-August 1, 2024]. Additional hours are available for classroom set-up prior to program start and take down after program is complete. Dates to be determined. Pay Rates: Licensed External Hires - Hourly, Schedule D per teacher contract.
