Description
Markets placement services, contact prospective employers, maintains data base and pertinent documentation. Coordinates activities of job placement services for person served. Matches, places, and oversees follow-up services for individuals. Communicates with referral sources, families and employers to advocate for individuals. Provide on and off site job coaching services to consumers.
Provide on site and off site job coaching services to assist consumers to learn job skills necessary to retain employment.
Contacts employers, markets placement services and advocates on behalf of persons served and the agency clients on individual basis dependent on needs.

Provide guidance and behavioral intervention as assigned.
Responsible to learn the jobs (existing and new) in order to provide the assistance needed to ensure the successful completion by consumers.
Perform job retention (follow-up) support services during and post-placement.
Responsible to set up and clean up the worksites.
Communicates with persons served families and referral agency regarding progress during service delivery.
Conducts group and individual activities as necessary to review, discuss and instruct on job procurement techniques.
Provides for on-the-job training, coaching services to assist person served in learning job skills necessary to employment retention.
Tracks statistical outcomes of services delivered to all persons served. Reports outcomes of delivered services and pertinent data to appropriate professional staff.
Oversee mock interviews to prepare clients for the interview process.
Perform job searches utilizing web, newspapers, networking, etc. and make referrals to clients.
Establish and maintain relationships with businesses in the community for potential job placements.
Act as a positive Role Model for employees, consumers, and customer in all aspects of professional performance.
Follow all company policies and safety procedures for all undertakings.
Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications
Must interact with a variety of people and motivate consumers to highest level of productivity.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
Ability to learn new tasks with complete efficiency.
Ability to train individuals to perform assigned duties.
Valid drivers’ license/means of transportation.
Must be willing to work in diverse employment environments and to learn quickly employers’ specific needs, as they relate to the persons they are hiring.
Schedule flexibility with the week (nights and weekends)
Flexibility to cover other areas of Goodwill when needed, including assuming facilities operation duties when necessary.
Ability to market Goodwill and those that we serve to the business community.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking.
Ability to function in hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
Ability to keep client information confidential as appropriate.
Must have good organizational skills, as well as computer skills as they relate to the position and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
