As an HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and installing mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, electronic instrumentation used for the operation of the HVAC equipment for Biological Vaccine Facility and supporting infrastructure.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Handle basic repairs, daily assignments, and maintenance with minimal supervision. Execute more complex projects and diagnose problems working alongside more senior technician. Develop your skills on HVAC through both OJT, completing assignments with more senior technician, from formal GSK training. Assure all documentation (logbooks, etc.) are complete and accurate. Complete all GSK required Site, EHS, Instrumentation, Regulatory and Global training. Adhere to safety and health procedures. Progression requirement of this role is to have the skills to progress in two years.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Trade school graduate, Associate's Degree, military or vocational-technical school training. Must have EPA Universal certification. Minimum 1 year experience as a technician in an industrial environment Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Preferred 0-1-year experience using WO system and documentation. Experience working on process and utilities systems. Basic computer skills. Experience with SAP. Ability to troubleshoot and a general mechanical aptitude. Good verbal and written communication skills. Refrigeration License Job may require you to lift 75 pounds. Required to be on-site. Job may require working longer hours and perform more tasks during both shutdowns each year. Perform any tasks assigned to you.
