Job Opening:

The Malvern School is currently seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Summer at the Marlboro, NJ location. This is a full-time seasonal position, Monday through Friday - May/June to August.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly-motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

  • Floats to needed classrooms to assist teachers in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy while ensuring the classrooms meet their student to teacher ratios.

  • Assistant Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.

  • Assistant Teacher communicates with parents, in person and possibly through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

    What we need from you:

  • High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age

  • At least two years of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits and at least one year documented experience with young children in a licensed facility

  • Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
