Financial Systems Analyst - Hyperion EPM Administrator

Joining the Finance Solutions team in a highly visible and critical capacity, the Financial Systems Analyst will be instrumental in providing comprehensive financial analysis, system administration, and strategic support to the corporate division and management teams. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed and enthusiastic about generating vital business insights and delivering valuable information to our business partners. Merging the key functions of a financial analyst with the expertise of a Hyperion EPM system administrator, this role is designed to ensure the integrity, efficacy, and analytical power of our financial systems, enabling well-informed financial decision-making across the organization. The Financial Solutions team supports the:
Actual close cycles for Corporate Accounting
Budget, Forecast, Strategic Planning cycles for FP&A teams globally
Performance management, metadata management and external reporting
What to Expect:
System Administration:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Oracle Hyperion PBCS application.
Perform system setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Manage user access and security within the PBCS environment.
Application Maintenance:
Maintain and update application metadata, including dimensions, hierarchies, and member properties.
Manage data integration processes and troubleshoot data load issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as archiving data.
Business Rules and Calculations:
Develop, maintain, and optimize business rules, calculation scripts, and forms.
Ensure that business rules and calculations are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Reporting and Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis templates.
Assist users in creating and updating reports to support business needs.
Process Improvement:
Continuously seek ways to streamline and improve planning processes.
Implement best practices and automation where possible to enhance system functionality.
Data Integration and Management:
Oversee the integration of data from various source systems into PBCS.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the planning processes.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Diagnose and resolve system issues, working with Oracle support as necessary.
Provide technical expertise to resolve complex problems related to the PBCS application.
Assist users with Smartview issues and ad hoc reporting.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the finance team and other stakeholders to align the PBCS system with business objectives.
Gather requirements for enhancements and work with developers or consultants as needed.
Create and update training materials and user documentation.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty exceptionally. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3-5 years related financial systems and processes
Oracle/Hyperion EPM Solutions:
PBCS / Hyperion Planning - Planning, Budgeting Cloud Services
FCCS / HFM - Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Services
EDMCS / DRM - Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services
HFR – Hyperion Financial Reports
Essbase (BSO, ASO and Hybrid)
Desired Skillsets:
Highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced knowledge of finance and accounting principals

The annualized base salary range for this role is $107,000 to $168,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
