Large manufacturer with locations nationwide is targeting an Electrical Engineer for their production facility in the Martinsburg WV area. This position is responsible for designing electrical power systems and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical equipment.

BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical training preferred.

Relocation assistance available.

responsibilities:

Electrical System Design and Implementation:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and drives.

• Work with project teams during the design and construction phases to ensure that all electrical systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Commissioning and Start-up Support:

• Support commissioning activities, including testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and integration with plant equipment.

• Assist with start-up procedures and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation of the plant.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

• Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions to enhance electrical safety.
