Cintas Product Development Manager in Mason, Ohio

The Product Development Manager of Cleaning Chemicals is responsible for a portion of the product line management of our $100M+ Cleaning Chemical offering. This includes the development and launch of new products and service offerings within our Facility Services business. The Manager is Cintas’ leader in working with our suppliers to develop products and services that will further our growth and differentiation. The Manager will work closely with our Sales and Operations group to define, develop and launch new products and services. The Manager will have frequent interactions with Upper Management in this high-visibility role.
The duties include providing overall leadership for the Cleaning Chemical product line; examples include selecting products offered, service approach, pricing, new meaningful unique ideas, product specification management, and serving as the subject matter expert to field requests. This position will conduct solid testing methodology including planning, documenting learnings, executing and analyzing to advance project in the development process. Communication with customers, vendors and other departments will be utilized daily. A key part will be working with vendor’s technical resources to support active projects and providing their resources the desired performance specifications.
3 to 5 years of relevant business experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel up to 25%
Experience training on new products and tools
Experience interacting as a technical expert with customers
Vendor negotiation experience
Experience in Facility Services
Strong public speaking skills
