Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist DPT/SCD (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and
physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitative of persons who have medical problems, health related conditions, or a developmental disability that limits their ability to move or perform functional activities.
Physical Therapists also help prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility and promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles.
Some travel may be required in the provision of services between facilities and job functions.

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a Doctoral program in Physical Therapy required
Successful completion of Licensure in the state as Physical Therapist, Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program, also hold a current BLS.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years physical therapy work experience
