JD and Billy Hines Trucking Inc Night Shift Yard Supervisor McComb in McComb, Mississippi
This position is for a Local Night Shift Yard Supervisor. Must have CDL-A Driver with experience with tractor-trailer.
Applicants must live within 30 miles of the facility at which they work.
Duties and Responsibilities: will move trailers as needed, operate and inspect heavy equipment, help load and unload trucks, keep drivers moving.
Education and Experience: Required: Class A CDL license. At least 1 year of experience driving tractor-trailer. At least 23 years of age. Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Medical Exam performed by a company approved physician. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Access to reliable transportation to work.
Qualifications:
- Have the ability to move in and around equipment safely at all times
- Have knowledge of residual wood products
- Have knowledge of DOT regulations
- Responsible for:
- Loading and spotting trailers at mill
- Communicating effectively with truck drivers to boost production and driver retention
- Identifying and communicating equipment maintenance needs to shop
- Communicating with driver manager regarding mill operations
