A Day in the Role:

+ + Performs a variety of clerical and patient care duties essential to the daily operation.

  • These duties include but are not limited to: assisting with medical record operations on a daily basis; greeting, registering and escorting patients; completing set-ups and clean-up for patient care; turning over patient rooms; performing other patient administrative care duties as determined by the therapist.

  • 20-30 minute appointments

  • Typically working with 1-2 patients per appointment

  • Responsible for patient safety

  • Equipment management

  • Stocking inventory

  • Greeting patients/bringing to exam rooms

  • Wiping down stations

  • Assisting from check-in to PT examination

  • May call to fill in cancellations (call volume light)

  • They will then set a follow up appointment with

  • those candidates, and lock those in the system

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in customer service or patient support

  • Diploma or GED required

  • EMR experience preferred
