Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
Monitors all critical and building systems and makes adjustments and repairs as needed. Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls. Performs all maintenance and repair of all types of electromechanical equipment. Maintains equipment logs and preventive maintenance records. Assist in the compiling of data for daily and monthly reports. Maintenance on UPS systems, switchgear, transfer switches, and the entire electrical distribution system. Report all unsafe conditions and failures to supervisors. Perform housekeeping duties in the MERs and electric closets. Perform all work in a workmanlike manner following all safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair main electrical services, distribution services, panels, and powerline conditioners.
Inspect and maintain plant substation, transformers, and HV switches.
Install electrical utilities to production and support equipment, and troubleshoot these systems when necessary.
Maintain/repair/replace all facility lighting.
Preventative maintenance of emergency electrical power systems.
Assist in all electrical needs of the manufacturing areas.
Perform weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance assignments.
Complete work orders as assigned.
Provide backup for diesel fuel delivery.
Ensure electrical installations are installed and maintained in accordance with NEC and IEEE.
Maintain electrical diagnostic tools and equipment in safe operating condition. Maintain hot stick and other equipment in safe operating condition.
Work overtime as needed by the department. Work flexible hours as business needs require. Work after-hours on-call shifts as scheduled.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating PVD boards, lean lite, KAS, etc.
Communicate in an effective, timely, and appropriate manner to all associates (i.e., peers, support teams, and management) including escalating issues.
Comply with all local, state, federal, and client safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.
Comply with all local client quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
Comply with Company/Site required Training programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Licensed Electrician
Experience with conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting
Experience with chillers and boilers
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with high voltage substation and equipment is a plus
A minimum of five to ten years electrical experience
Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
Job duties may require standing, kneeling, crawling, bending, use of hands, fingers, arms to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment

Work Environment
Join a team of 18 responsible for a 300-room hotel, parking garage maintenance, putt-putt course, and theatre hall. The team is currently getting ready to break ground on a baseball field and stadium on the campus as well. Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 2pm - 10:30pm.
