DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position works within the Public Safety Information Technology Delivery Center (PSITDC), and is responsible for software, web-based, client and/or n-tier server applications development, maintenance, and operations support. This position is primarily focused on applications support and development for CAPTOR.

The Senior Applications Developer may conduct work for any agencies supported by the PSITDC including the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Department of Corrections (DOC), Pennsylvania Parole Board (PPB), Office of Victim Advocate (OVA), Sex Offender Assessment Board (SOAB), Firearms Education and Training Commission (FETC), Pennsylvania Justice Network, and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD).

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and report to the office one day per week.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate degree in any information technology field; or Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

This particular position requires three or more years of full-time experience with C#.NET. This particular position requires two or more years of full-time experience with ASP.NET Web API. This particular position requires one or more years of full-time experience with Angular.
