Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • plant production target in a safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally acceptable manner through continuous improvements.

  • Lead manufacturing process improvements at Lithium processing plant.

  • Adopt, develop, and manage continuous efforts to improve plant operation effectiveness and profitability.

  • Plan, coordinate, schedule and deliver the process and technology documentations and training plan for the responsible projects.

  • Support manufacturing operations and coordinate with site stakeholders as well as the reginal capital project team to identify opportunities for improvements and provide technical support on day-to-day operation, ensure troubleshooting and resolution of plant ramp-up through effective mobilization of process engineering services to the plant.

  • Work together with operation team to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Support plant commissioning and start-up.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of applicable experience in hydrometallurgical processing or chemical manufacturing and technical management, experience in HAZOP, process modelling, process simulation, lean manufacturing, and 6 Sigma manufacturing is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in an applicable technical discipline.

  • Presentation and change-management skills is a valuable plus.

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and good English language skills with strong capability in speaking and writing.

  • Results driven, action-oriented approach to management with a collaborative operating style that fosters high expectations and creates inspired and motivated teams

  • Data-based decision making, problem solving, prioritization, and risk-based management skills

  • Strategic agility and ability to create alternate plans to achieve necessary results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong internal customer focus
