Oracle Consulting Engagement Manager in MELBOURNE, Australia

Job Description

The Consulting Program Manager will be responsible for trusted, long-lasting customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through delivery. To achieve this, the professional would demonstrate expertise to our clients, be responsible for best-in-class customer engagement through demonstration of superior management consulting skills during delivery to enable the extension or expansion of the Oracle customer base. Typically, a Program Manager will lead large complex transformations as an Engagement Leader in a larger program.

The Consulting Program Manager reports to the Portfolio Delivery Head, FSIC (Finance Sector, Insurance and Commercial) for ANZ.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Oracle solutions to meet client business initiatives.

  • Successfully lead teams, being accountable for delivery within plan

  • Support extensions/expansions through successful Delivery

  • Establish strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with the Oracle Sales Management and the larger X-LoB teams to ensure the success of Oracle ANZ Consulting

  • Assist in the bid management process for clients/prospects

  • Ensure success of each delivery engagement both financially and from a customer satisfaction viewpoint

  • Manage risks and issues on a proactive basis to help achieve positive outcome for both customer as well as Oracle Consulting

  • Become a trusted customer advisor and create customer advocates through customer delight and management of key relationships

Role Requirements

You must have a strong track record with 10+ years of project delivery or involvement in large scale Enterprise SaaS transformations with substantial interaction experience with customer executives and decision makers. You must have Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus with an ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Project/Program Management:

  • Certification in project/program management.

  • Proven experience in maintaining complex integrated Microsoft project plans (mpp) with key internal and external dependencies.

  • Proven experience to lead clients through complex business initiatives.

  • Experience of working as a program director/manager as part of SI/consulting firm.

  • Delivery experience and knowledge on Oracle's Cloud Technology is preferred.

Content Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge to communicate & discuss business process and technology solutions with customer stakeholders around back-office business applications (ERP, EPM, SCM and HCM) and business applicability of these. What works and does not work for Cloud projects

  • Experience and knowledge of revenue forecast for the programs managed

  • Industry domain knowledge in Finance or Insurance Sector is a plus

  • Delivery experience and knowledge on ERP is preferred but not essential

Sales Skills:

  • Innovative thought process & customer-first mindset

  • Display capability of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including client executives, legal, technical, finance, support, sales and marketing experts

  • Manage opportunity life-cycle by analysing opportunities and presenting compelling views through the deal qualification process, engaging required internal & external resources.
