Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Purchaser. This Purchaser will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. If you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you.

What you get to do every day

• Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors

• Attend events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products

• Attend and engage in meetings with stakeholders and staff

• Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality for the best deal

• Write reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses

• Revise records of purchased products

• Write orders to refill stock based on inventory monitoring

• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, making sure that goods are received on time

• Examine purchased products upon delivery and note any issues Requirements - Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

• Skilled in communication and negotiation

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
