Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for a Flight Line Inspector-Vertical Lift to join their team in Mesa, AZ . These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs all phases of inspection on operational aircraft. Inspects tools, components, assemblies, exotic materials, fixtures, instruments, and other large or complex parts for compliance with established specifications and operational requirements.
Follow blue prints, planning, technical manuals, special inspections, and written or verbal instructions to set up in-process and final inspections.
Use various standard and precision instruments and equipment to perform inspections of aircraft structure, flight controls, power plants, armament, electrical, avionics, and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance to engineering and contract requirements and preservation, military, or FAA specifications.
Perform preflight, post flight, and special inspections
Maintain and update historical records per FAA, customer maintenance and quality documents, US. Army Aviation Standards, and Boeing requirements.
Work with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customer personnel to identify and document results of inspections to include acceptance or rejection data and documentation of nonconformance.
Ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and nonconformances issues.
Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to safety officials or supervision.
Report on job status and restraints to coworkers and supervision
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post - Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with AH-64 platform in a maintenance or inspection role.
Knowledgeable and able to interpret and work from blueprints, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
1+ year experience with Computer proficiency in office and shop applications.
Skilled in conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluatequality or performance.
Able to work in confined spaces requiring kneeling, crawling, climbing, and bending.
Experience with aircraft logbooks/records and DA Pamphlet 738-751 requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Knowledgeable and skilled in aircraft structural, power plant, and system operation and assembly methods, common shop practices, and quality control policies, procedures and processes.
Active security clearance
Common Access Card (CAC)
Proficiency in ACN, ULLSA, and/or TAMMS-A/MCDS
Experience conducting root cause corrective action
Experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency
Proficient with US Army Technical Publications
