In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and standardization of Performance and NPP data deliverables acquired and integrated across all AbbVie’s Collaboration products. You will also be providing analytics support for Data Integrations related to new data sources that we acquire and integrate with existing AbbVie Sources. You will work closely with the MABI and Performance Ops team to understand data needs and requirements, Data Governance Office to implement a robust Data Quality Framework, update, and manage domain metadata, and spearhead data quality issue resolution in collaboration with BTS (IT) and source data providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of a scalable data operations framework that enhances data quality, improves speed of data integrations, and provides standardization across AbbVie Collab brands.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the wide spectrum of data represented in the HCP and Account ecosystems across different domains and archetypes.

  • Run frequent DQM processes to validate existing performance data used for Analytics, Reporting and Performance measurement.

  • Document metric requirements, data lineage, and ETL pipelines to meet business needs.

  • Implement the data governance framework ensuring transparency and trust in data and metric logic with our Collab partners.

  • Serve as the SME of Performance and NPP data and data providers for HCP and Account level data.

  • Create data inventories, catalogs & definitions repository to ensure data accessibility, visibility and understanding is supported across all stakeholders within AbbVie and our Collab partners.

  • As part of AbbVie’s current and future acquisition of new commercial products, lead data operations to ensure Business Continuity while data is integrated with AbbVie ecosystems.

  • Perform analysis to evaluate new data sources that we plan to integrate with existing AbbVie ecosystems.

  • Build and maintain relationships with AbbVie BTS team and Data Technology teams with AbbVie’s collab partners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with providers of data to ensure ongoing relevance and quality of acquired data. Coordinate feedback from data consumers to ensure ongoing quality and relevance of purchased data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years of professional experience

  • 3+ years of related industry experience in marketing analytics, data operations and/or BI.

  • Experience in analyzing and processing different types of data used in the pharmaceutical industry including data from internal systems like call activity and speaker programs, as well as syndicated data from third party vendors such as IQVIA, Symphony Health, patient level data, Affiliations, and specialty pharmacy data across retail and non-retail business channels.

  • Strong working knowledge and experience of working with SQL, Python and Power BI/Tableau/Datorama

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment across commercial and marketing stakeholders.

  • Experience in business and/or analytics consulting roles for technology services.

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

  • Project management experience; solid attention to detail and operational focus.

  • Proven ability to influence the development of IT processes required to support analytic data consumption.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
