Job Description

Purpose:

This position will assist in supporting various cross functional team needs accurately in timely manner and required to work closely with programming teams and analysts from multiple groups, including Marketing and Business Intelligence and Analytics vendors. The ability to analyze and to effectively articulate and implement results is essential for this position. This position also involves developing and maintaining ad hoc reports for our sales teams. It will require the ability to synthesize direction from multiple teams, as well as from Sales Management teams while creating efficiencies and maintaining a reductive mindset. This position will also be responsible for providing insights and conducting analysis based on data inquiries, the feasibility of new data requests and existing reports. Along with data analysis and reporting responsibilities, this position will support Field tools data integrity and help to maintain data segmentation lists that will be implemented into various systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support ad hoc analyses and reporting requirements of Field Tools & Reporting

  • Develop efficiencies and implement process improvements in reporting

  • Assess and analyze data inquiries to answer questions and resolve issues.

  • Implement business rules for reports

  • Communicate all work effectively to Operations, Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Work closely with various cross functional departments

  • Familiarize and support data within field tools for all brands. Assist in development of new tools along with Associate Director of Field Tools

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required - Majors in Mathematics or Engineering (preferred)

  • 3-5 years of analytical experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, Market Research, or related consultancy strongly preferred.

  • Strong SAS experience and Dataiku preferred.

  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot table, charts, macros, etc.)

  • Strong database management skills (MS Access/VBA, Oracle).

  • Ability to positively contribute individually and in team settings.

  • Self-motivated and creative thinker.

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and cognitive skills.

  • Clear written and oral communication of technical and statistical language to peers and managers.

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and multi-task.

  • Comfort using all primary components of MS Office.
