Emerson Inventory Control Manager in MEXICALI, Mexico

In this role your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan, organize and direct all activities of the raw material, MRO and finished product warehouses.

  • Planning of receipts, Oracle data entry, allocation, storage, distribution, and assortment to production areas.

  • Shipping of finished product or subassemblies to external and internal clients.

  • Implementation of inventory controls that guarantee its veracity, both physically and in the MRP system and in the customs system (Prisma).

  • Defines and ensures the implementation of practices that guarantee the well-being and safety of the personnel in charge.

Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:

  • Proven experience in inventory control, production scheduling, purchasing, and materials management.

  • Proficiency in resource optimization, workforce, and cost.

  • Proven experience in project management.

  • Experience in using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools, as well as related improvement projects.

  • Understanding of the flow of manufactured or purchased parts and materials and its effect on shortage control.

  • Experience working under the ISO-9000 standard.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate personnel effectively and develop work teams.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience in using MRP and ERP systems (Oracle).

  • Understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing operations.
