What will you do

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for reviewing and providing on an accurate and timely basis, financial and business analysis, supporting the business through the generation of financial solutions in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, investments, and consolidations, acting as a key enabler to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Challenge business assumptions, developing alternative scenarios and educating business partners on financial concepts, ownership and generate recommendations to commercial teams

  • Provide leadership among teams, presentations to finance and functional senior management

  • Interact with KAMs, commercial, supply chain, shopper, RGM and trademarketing to support the best decision making for the business

  • Ensure compliance with the Business Plan and updates at customer / channel level and make updates according to business projections, make income statements by customer / channel and comparisons against previous years to analyze their profitability and financial performance

  • Monitor financial performance metrics of sales and customers investments against the Business Plan and Updates and prepare monthly closings to assure fair presentation of operating results by monitoring expense commitments

  • Understand the business model and commercial conditions of each customer/channel

  • Safeguard and control the critical information of commercial agreements, promotional grid, contracts, among other supporting documentation, for internal and external audits and reviews. Ensure personal and company compliance with company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance .

  • Prepare analysis used to monitor, forecast and report rate of return, working capital, investments, and financial comparisons. Ensure optimal cash flow process with clients achieving financial targets.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, and other careers related

  • Encouraged to have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Finance (sales controlling, marketing controlling, FP&A and others related).

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English

  • Proficiency on Microsoft Package (Advance Excel: Macros, SQL, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Preferred professional experience in mass consumption
