Siemens is seeking one exciting additions to our Power Automation leadership team. We are growing fast, and our ever-expanding team needs new leaders to help shape the future. In this role, you will support the growing power automation team providing more focused effort on employee development, improving customer experience, long term growth initiatives and process improvements. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers responsible for engineering all technical aspects of customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the correct execution of the pre-procurement phase ensuring that the resources from the administrative, material, logistic, personnel and technical aspects are ready before starting a project.

• Main point of contact and connection between different areas such as sales, engineering, procurement, customer, suppliers and administrative areas.

• Manage the day-to-day needs of the Power Automation business team, including training, and coaching new team members, performance evaluations, schedule management, escalation resolution.

• Drive long term process improvements and increase team efficiency through lessons learned analysis, creative preventive action plans and driving those plans through implementation.

• Mentor team members and create an environment where employees can grow and succeed in their chosen career paths.

• Keep the team engaged, motivated and productive.

• Provide hands-on technical training and support for employees as needed.

• Coordinate Project activities with PA management team.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced English

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

• 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role, at least 3 years of which leading projects on p ower systems protection, controls, or automation as a Manager, Team Lead.

• Strong communications skills and demonstrated presentation skills to diverse audiences.

• Extensive demonstrated knowledge in Substation Protection, Automation and Network communications solutions

• Ability to ready and fully understand DC and AC schematics, three- and one-line diagrams for Medium and/or High Voltage substations systems.

• Knowledge of Medium and High Voltage Protection

• High and Low Impedance Busbar Differential

• Line Differential and Distance Protection

• Generator Protection

• MV transfer schemes and reverse interlocking schemes.

• Communication Network Technologies knowledge for protection applications.

• Knowledgeable on communication protocols.
