Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Beverage Manager to join the hotel’s opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Opening in late 2024, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s who of Miami. As the Beverage Manager at Andaz Miami Beach, you will play a pivotal role in curating an exceptional beverage experience that aligns with our lifestyle brand. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations, including the development and execution of innovative drink menus, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities & Duties Include:

· Curate Unique Experiences : Design and execute captivating beverage menus that reflect the essence of Miami’s culture and the latest trends and techniques, ensuring every sip tells a story.

· Lead a Talented Team : Inspire and mentor a diverse team of bartenders and beverage staff, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration that shines through in every guest interaction. Continuously supporting the team on techniques, menu knowledge and guest service skills.

· Drive Operational Excellence : Oversee the seamless operation of our beverage outlets, ensuring top-notch service, adherence to health and safety standards, and efficient inventory management that keeps our offerings fresh and exciting.Monitor and maintain bar equipment, glassware, and supplies, ensuring they are clean, functional, and well-stocked.

· Engage with Guests : Connect with our guests to create personalized experiences, gather feedback, and transform their beverage journey into a memorable adventure.

· Maximize Profitability : Implement innovative strategies to manage costs while maintaining the highest quality standards, ensuring our beverage program is both profitable and exceptional.Manage beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock. Analyze sales data and trends to forecast demand and adjust ordering quantities accordingly.

· Collaborate Across All Functions : Work hand-in-hand with our Corporate Director of Beverage, the culinary team and other departments to create unforgettable events, promotions, and experiences that showcase the best of Andaz Miami Beach. Form strong relationships with suppliersto negotiate favorable pricing, track deliveries, and resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Beverage Manager or similar role within the restaurant industry.

· In-depth knowledge of beverages, including spirits, cocktails, beers, and wines.

· Strong understanding of food and wine pairing principles, with a demonstrated ability to create harmonious combinations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.

· Proficiency in inventory management and cost-control techniques.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 20lbs

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
