Our Fortune 500 Client in South Florida is looking to bring on a remote IT Disaster Recovery Coordinator (that is flexible to come onsite to Miami once a quarter) to lead and coordinate Disaster Recovery Tests and planning. This person will come in and hit the ground running where they will be responsible and be involved in the set up of an upcoming mainframe DR test. This will have tight windows to set up -- having strong communication and ability to be calm under pressure is needed. This person will be senior level experienced with mainframes within DR and know how web applications work across a three-tier architecture environment. Background in cloud applications is needed. Other day to day responsibilities include meeting across different business and IT units (application, infrastructure teams) where this person will add tasks to the Disaster Recovery Plan, organize milestones, and ensure the DRP is complete. This person with spot potential gaps in testing and plans. The ideal candidate will have experience and background within Hurricane coordination and BCP procedure.

Skills and Requirements

* Over 10 years of experience in the Disaster Recovery space within IT Systems/Computer Science as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator

* Strong experience leading Disaster Recovery Tests in a three-tier architecture environment that includes cloud applications

o Understanding of recovery solutions, and mainframe architectures

o Identify gaps in testing, plans, and recovery -- remediate these issues

* Must come from an enterprise background understanding concepts of managing programs and working with project development teams to deliver and ensure plan/testing completion

* Experience with Business Continuity Program life cycle plans, and source deliverables/milestones (risk assessments, continuity planning) -- including Hurricane Coordination Planning

* Strong communicator, able to hold people accountable -- translate lingo to application and infrastructure teams

o Stressing the importance of soft people skills and communication for maximum program efficiency

* MUST HAVE great personality (someone that is fun, exciting, engaging, not shy) able to communicate clearly across leaders and executives null
