Human Resource Generalist

• Participate in recruiting activities that include resume review, inviting candidates for open interview, interview and track candidates in our applicant system;

• Participate in onboarding and termination activities;

• Maintain and audit physical employment files;

• Partner on safety programs;

• Manage workers compensation activities;

• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance;

• Participates in responding to verification of employment and EDD claims;

• Participate in performance management activities;

• Partner on compensation analysis;

• Participate in monthly employee appreciation activities to include planning monthly events, annual summer picnic and annual holiday party;

• Maintain employee programs such as: bingo, shout outs and birthday announcements/cards;

• Perform other duties as required to meet company needs.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) year experience in HR;

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is preferred;

• Prior experience developing and implementing training & development;

• Knowledge of US Labor Laws: FLSA, OSHA, FMLA. CA specific laws preferred;

• Exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills;

• Strong organizational skills;

• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality;
