The Digital Team of TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Manager, Special Productions to join our team. The Manager, Special Productions will be responsible for executing the strategy to increase digital video production based on TV IPs with focus on monetization and engagement across owned and operated platforms. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Digital Entertainment and works closely with the social media and digital TV teams.

The successful candidate will lead a team of social media producers, multimedia producers and graphic designers and overview all the video production process to deliver incremental video views on 9:16 and 16:9 formats, both long and short form, to meet our monetization goals for the year.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Lead and execute the digital video production strategy of TelevisaUnivision IPs around Entertainment and Lifestyle content.

  • Be the expert in the digital team for all production needs, from short social media assets to livestream productions and long form VOD content.

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team based in US and Mexico that includes social media producers, video editors, multimedia producers and graphic designers.

  • Work very closely with the social media team, the YouTube, the Univision.com and the Monetization team to coordinate video production efforts, optimize content output, maximize performance and digital sales opportunities of TV IPs.

  • Bring best practices and production value for short and long form clips to our day-to-day production and distribution strategies. Keep up with video production and consumption trends.

  • Attend meetings with TV producers and senior leaders to align our digital strategy with the plan for TV IPs.

YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing digital productions in a corporate setting and 5 in digital content strategy in a TV organization in the US.

  • Proven leader with strong production knowledge and strategy and people management.

  • Extensive experience working with TV productions and creating ancillary content to amplify brand reach on digital platforms.

  • Familiarity working with talents and artists in the US Hispanic market.

  • Spanish and English

  • Detail oriented with ability to work with tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment for multiple key stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Experience with TelevisaUnivision IPs is a plus.

  • Portfolio of high-quality productions with focus on digital storytelling

  • Ability to think out of the box to solve problems.
