Robert Half is looking for a Network Administrator. As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance. You will be responsible for configuring and managing network devices, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting network issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Configure and manage network devices to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve network problems in a timely manner.

  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.

  • Configure and maintain VPN connections to enable secure remote access for employees and partners.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems and applications.

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff as needed.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend new solutions or enhancements to improve network infrastructure.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 4-7 years of experience in network administration roles, with a strong technical proficiency in network technologies.

  • Experience with configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.

  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow.

  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
