Job Title: Revenue Analyst

Job Description

• Perform data analysis of booking activity for both revenue maximization and quality assurance purposes. Translate findings into optimal recommendations and pricing actions as it relates to inventory control and tactical promotions with a combination of upper management directives, data analytics, and market knowledge.

• Query data sources to extract large structured and unstructured datasets, examine and explain outliers, interpret the data and produce actionable insights.

• Develop automation tools to eliminate manual processes.

• Compile daily/weekly/monthly reporting on company performance as well as issues/exceptions based on reviews of reservations/bookings.

• Track performance of promotions, sales and tactical offers and formulate the results into summaries for presentation to management.

• Keep current on existing and new reservation system areas and company products, policies and procedures, as applicable to the reservations/bookings review.

• Assist in the building of promotions and pricing within the reservation system.

• Continuously monitor changes in inventory across all distribution channels, analyze key reports, and track competitive landscape.

• Manage inventory to successfully fill every sailing to capacity at the highest possible price. Strategize the creation of revenue generation tactics.

• Control the maintenance and continuous evolution of pricing files and models.

• Organize, plan, control and execute individual projects and create and present results to sr management including the creation of compelling, clear and interactive visualizations and presentations to enhance decision making capabilities.

• Effectively and professionally liaise with various other departments, including Sales and Marketing teams.

• Perform other job-related functions as assigned
