Our client is seeking an Engineer to join our team. Our client is a small but growing geotechnical engineering firm based in the Richmond, VA metro area. Through its hands-on customer service and full range of geotechnical capabilities, they have grown in both size and scope, to become a leader in geotechnical engineering in the Mid-Atlantic. With an in-house fleet of geotechnical drill rigs and materials testing equipment, they provide prompt and affordable expert geotechnical analysis. In addition to geotechnical services, they offer structural design and inspection services for both residential and commercial clients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD, StruCalc, and Geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, FLAC, GeoStudio, etc.) are a plus.

• BS or higher degree in Civil Engineering required; MS in Geotechnical Engineering is desirable

• EIT is required, Professional Engineer’s License would be nice to have, preferably licensed in VA, MD, and DC. EIT would need to want to pursue PE or pursuing PE within a year of being hired for this role.

• Field experience with geotechnical exploration and structural inspections is preferred

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
