Job description

Our MEMS team is looking for a MEMS and ASIC Designer to join the company in the Milan’s office and take responsibility for the design, development, test and integration of MEMS sensors to be embedded transversally in CNS’ systems. This opportunity is addressed to engineers with a background in Electronics or equivalent scientific background.

Duties and responsabilities

  • The selected candidate will be included in the MEMS team and will be part of a multidisciplinary team with experience in MEMS design, ASIC design, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and software developments.

  • The selected candidate will take the following responsibilities:

  • Definition of requirements, design, modeling, and simulation of MEMS in Matlab/Simulink.

  • Design, simulation and layout of MEMS structures.

  • Design, simulation and layout of ASIC for MEMS.

  • Design of PCB for prototyping MEMS systems or test of MEMS&ASIC prototypes/products.

  • Development of prototype test setup.

  • Support to the definition of test plans, execution of test campaigns and analysis of results.

  • Generation of documentation related to design, implementation, and test activities.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in electronic plus three-year experience or PhD on MEMS topics.

  • Knowledge of MEMS systems for inertial sensors.

  • Good knowledge of integrated electronics and related architectures.

  • Consolidated knowledge in the use of modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink.

  • Able to work autonomously and/or in a team.

  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints.

  • Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking (the knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
