Homeland Vinyl Products Industrial Maintenance Technician in Millville, New Jersey

The role of an Industrial Maintenance Tech is to ensure the smooth, continuous operation of all equipment/structures, within the facility and its surrounding grounds. This position is instrumental to the safety of Homeland Vinyl employees and overall efficiency of the various manufacturing areas. Trains employees as needed. Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs. Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Perform routine maintenance such as replace or repair locks, light bulbs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, with good communication between shifts. Experienced work history with machine repair, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Ability to maintain supply inventory and report reorder needs. Install and repair electrical apparatus and electronic components. Ability to perform standard preventative maintenance and daily water treatment. Repair and maintain physical structure of facility and its grounds. Inspect/test equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems for proper repair, through various troubleshooting methods. Ability to utilize various maintenance tools, such as hand tools, forklift, (precision) measuring devices, blueprints, brushes, scissor lift, cutting torch, welders, jigs, harnesses, etc.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
SHIFT: 42 hours per week; 12 hour shifts, either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. Rotating days. (employees only work about 15 days per month yet receive full time checks)
