We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Universal Banker in our Credit Union located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their financial service needs are met and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire consumer loan process, including initiating, pre-qualifying, and closing loan applications

• Maintain regular interaction with customers to understand and meet their financial service needs

• Advocate for our organization's products and services based on customer requirements

• Accurately process various transactions such as share deposit payments, loan payments, and lines of credit transactions

• Handle cash and check withdrawals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Open, close, and balance cash drawer daily, ensuring accurate record keeping

• Initiate conversations with customers to suggest new products and services

• Participate in the organization's outreach events to promote our services

• Adhere to all regulatory procedures to ensure compliance

• May require travel to cover other branches, ensuring seamless service delivery across locations.

Skills:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Proficient in Banking Operation and Daily Banking

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Experience in Cash Handling.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the non-profit sector

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to deliver superior customer service

• Experience in banking operations and daily banking procedures

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven experience in cash handling

• Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with clients

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and handle difficult situations with professionalism and patience

• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changes quickly.
