As the Business Analyst in this particular role, experience analyzing accounting functions and systems will be extremely valuable. You will be servicing Business Analysts creating requirements documentation and developing new methods of data mapping to accounting systems for the most efficient accounting and reporting of transactions. The role will additionally support the accounting leadership team and other key participants in the accounting process, ensuring that their input and feedback is incorporated into key initiatives. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Arranges priorities of concurrent project and support assignments, while meeting stakeholder expectations

• Begins and works on work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation

• Provides a clear overview of business requirements for business users

• Identifies business requirements and business process design and explain them to the development team

• In addition to meeting project sponsor expectations and understanding business drivers, you will negotiate changes, when required, to project scope, timing, or resources to make sure strategic solutions are delivered

• Establishes appropriate governance approaches for the projects to ensure consistent and effective communication as well as issue resolutio

  Requirements - Possess qualifications to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

• Capable of responding both orally and in writing to executive management, team members, business and technology professionals

• Having a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification is a plus

• Essential project management skills, including project planning and tracking principles; project risk and issues identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation

• Expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development

• General familiarity with System Enhancements

• Experience with Business Requirement Document

• Proven knowledge of Business Unit

• Comprehensive knowledge of communication

• Liaison experience

• Practical knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Command of Presentations

• Strong familiarity with implementation

• Well-founded grasp of Enhancement

• Know-how of project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications

• Experience working with or in an accounting function with a key role in system projects preferred

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
