FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The Ambulatory Clinic Coordinator supports and collaborates with the Clinic Manager by overseeing the day to day operational activities of the Dermatology and Mohs clinics. This individual must be able to apply principles of leadership and human resources in assisting with the oversight of patient care, personnel, quality and financial issues. Enhances the clinical expertise and education of the clinic staff to improve the quality of patient care and assure competencies of the clinic staff. Makes nursing decisions relating to nursing care management based on clinical judgment in the clinic settings. Provides nursing care as needed. The clinic coordinator assists the Clinic Manager with maintaining clinic specific standards of practice based on current literature and professional standards of practice. Active in developing processes and evaluation tools to guide resource utilization. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Three to five years of experience in nursing field and hands on patient experience in an acute care setting is required. Dermatology and Mohs experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing is required. Bachelor\'s degree is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Knowledgeable in the care of patients undergoing Dermatology and Mohs procedures. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
