Robert Half Software Support Engineer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our team, focusing on internal customer-facing collaboration. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a growing organization in Milwaukee and is 100% remote. Stellar benefits including generous paid time off, 401k and an annual bonus are also included. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing our software applications. Essential skills include proficiency in T-SQL for writing queries, C#, and PowerShell. Experience with AWS and SSIS is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and resolve application issues for internal customers.

  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries for database management and troubleshooting.

  • Develop and maintain application scripts and tools using C# and PowerShell.

  • Collaborate with development teams to improve system functionality and performance.

  • Document support processes and create knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, C#, and PowerShell.

  • Experience with AWS and SSIS is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
