Description Robert Half is searching for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk eager to contribute their skill set to the rapid growth of a dynamic company. This position involves entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. The team is growing quickly and needs a self-starter to become part of the accounting team! Paying close attention to detail, you will process full-cycle AP and handle multiple invoices per week. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Minneapolis, Minnesota region, is a permanent position.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Confirm documents and codes are correct

• Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan

• Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company

• Answer questions from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders

• Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

• Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks

• Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts Requirements Accounts Receivable (AR), Deductions, Cash Applications, Microsoft Excel, 10 - Key Accounting, Ad Hoc Analysis, Invoice Discrepancies
