Unisys Field Computer Technician - Eagan /St. Cloud, MN in Minneapolis, Minnesota
What success looks like in this role: Provides support for Enterprise products Including enterprise storage, servers and networking products Supports Networking products - Dell/EMC storage skillset - Cisco certification an asset Project management responsibilities for smaller installation projects an asset Possesses enterprise installation, break/fix skills, specialized technical skills (servers, storage, networking). Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for servers, storage, networking Provides maintenance and support on legacy products Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals Performs installs, moves, adds and changes requests Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications Provides follow-up on problems or escalation. Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress. Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request/service tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system Perform IMAC and exposure to project management May function as team or site leader providing direction to other technicians You will be successful in this role if you have: High school degree required 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience Troubleshooting software and hardware problems Knowledgeable in servers, Microsoft/Linux/Unix applications, network protocol, internetworking, and configuration, and possess advanced PC support capability. Excellent analytical and client communication skills Client and/or governmental clearance may be required Police or criminal background verification may be required Must have reliable transportation #LI-JV1 This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
