We are looking for an intern for our Bloomington territory! Applicants will be enrolled or recently graduated (within the past year) from an accredited college with a degree in HealthCare Administration, Health and Human Services, or similar field. We are happy to provide any necessary paperwork or performance evaluations for credit with your institution! This is a PAID internship! Looking for some type of availability Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-4:30pm. We are a small business growing rapidly and have the opportunity to share that experience with motivated students. The HealthCare Administration Intern will help with the day-to-day tasks that keep our business running smoothly! The Intern will report to the Branch Manager and work closely with the Customer Care Manager to provide excellent customer service to our caregivers and clients! They will assist our Customer Care Manager in the following tasks: Answering the phones, troubleshooting scheduling issues, providing consistent communication to our clients and staff, uploading and renaming employee and client documents, managing expiring or expired staff credentials, scheduling performance evaluations on the Customer Care Manager's Calendar, assisting with Clinical Quality to make sure all care notes/task lists are completed for every shift, completing project work assigned by the Branch Manager as needed. Additional Tasks as assigned. You will have the ability to work with staff in every aspect of our home care business, from human resources, finance, clinical team, and general management. Responsibilities * Providing outstanding customer service to all clients and staff. * Update calendars and events including documentation, meeting room setup/teardown and coordinating for meetings and presentations * Extensive relationship management with staff, vendors and customers * Coordination of company training, events and celebrations * Coordination of building maintenance and organization of mail, storage, office equipment, and supplies * Follow up with employees around credentials and proper documentation Requirements * High School diploma * Currently enrolled in an accredited program, or graduated in the last year. * Works independently with little to no direction * Attention to detail possessing strong organizational skills * Customer service including front-line customer and staff interaction * Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
